You will need a graphing calculator for this lesson.

This lesson is about solving systems of equations using matrices. Let's say you wanted to solve this system of equations.

3x + 4y = 11 and 2x - 5y = -8

There are two methods you can use with matrices on your graphing calculator to solve this system. One method uses inverse matrices. The other method uses a reduced row echelon form (RREF).

The following two videos will help you learn how to solve the system with your graphing calculator using either method. You should follow along with your own graphing calculator. You may start, stop, or replay the videos as many times as you want.

Write down things that you want to remember.
